how to read seed price, harvest mode and pickup risk

Seeds & Crops

This wiki section explains how seed data should be used. Open the Seeds page when you need the complete seed price list, base sell values, harvest type, first harvest timing and pickup risk table.

Repeat-income crops30
Pickup-risk crops7
Seed price is not fruit value
Buy price decides payback. Base sell value goes into the calculator, then fruit weight, mutation, Fruit Stock and friends multiplier change the final sell value.
Single harvest vs multi harvest
Single-harvest crops pay once after harvest. Multi-harvest crops keep the plant and are better for repeat income, especially when growth boosts are active.
Pickup risk is a crop trait
Only crops with high fruit pickup points need Ladder Crate, Fruit Magnet or Frog help. Ladder-immune crops do not need those helpers even when the plant grows huge.
Bamboo timing
Bamboo uses the corrected 700 Sheckles seed price. Its first harvest timing scales with size, so a heavier Bamboo can take longer than a normal one.
when a multiplier should be applied

Mutations

Only apply visible mutations
A multiplier belongs in the calculator only after the fruit actually shows that mutation. Weather being active is not the same as every fruit receiving the weather mutation.
Weather-linked mutations
Electric, Frozen, Starstruck, Aurora, Ignited and Bloodlit should be treated as event-driven sell multipliers, not permanent seed traits.
Natural value spikes
Gold and Rainbow can appear as high-value fruit outcomes. Use the Mutations page for the full multiplier list and the calculator for final sell value.
sprinklers, pickup helpers and utility tools

Gear & Tools

Gear tracked25
Sprinklers5
Pickup tools1
Sprinklers change growth and size
Sprinklers matter most when you are intentionally rolling larger fruit and higher SizeLuck. Bigger crops can also raise pickup-risk pressure for tall-fruit plants.
Pickup helpers are situational
Ladder Crate, Fruit Magnet and Frog are useful only when fruit pickup points become too high. Ladder-immune crops do not need them.
Utility gear needs context
Teleporters, magnets, mushrooms and defense tools solve different player tasks, so the Gear page separates price, restock and use case.
abilities, taming use cases and garden roles

Pets & Taming

Pets tracked14
Ability roles4
Read pets by function
The Pets page focuses on player-useful roles: movement, backpack, auto-pick, growth, night utility and defense.
Pets solve utility problems
Frog helps jump, Turtle helps backpack capacity, Monkey helps auto-pick mature fruit, and defense pets protect the garden.
Use source wording carefully
Acquisition details should follow the in-game source text. Avoid treating background labels as a specific shop until players can see it in game.
event duration, mutation chances and planning

Weather & Time Cycle

Weather is a planning signal
Weather duration and weights help plan harvest timing. They are not a guarantee that every fruit receives the event mutation.
Calculator rule
Apply Electric, Frozen, Starstruck, Aurora or Rainbow pricing only after the fruit visibly has that mutation.
Static matrix
The Weather page carries the full event matrix, duration, effect text and player action notes. It is not a live weather feed.
shop restock samples and plot expansion costs

Stock & Expansion

Seed stock samples26
Observed restock boundaries4
Expansion steps5
Stock is sampled, not live
The stock data should be used as a restock watchlist and probability reference, not a live server inventory guarantee.
Expansion planning
Expansion costs belong here in the Wiki because they are planning reference data, not a standalone calculator page.
Where the stock rows live
Seed stock ranges are on the Seeds page. Gear stock and restock odds are on the Gear page, next to each item effect.
Best use
Use stock data to prioritize seed and gear purchases, then use the calculator to test whether the chosen crop pays back the cost.
